Prayer for little Jamie

Another prayer request for you guys. A friend of a friend and an aquaintance of ours has a little girl who needs prayer. Their little girl Jaime is going to be having surgery on October 10th, the ventricles in Jaime’s heart are switched and they are going to be switching them back on the 10th. Please pray for peace for Jaime’s family as their little girl goes through this very risky but extremely important surgery, God please guide the hands of these surgeons and give them wisdom, and bring this little precious one through the surgery stong and ready for a quick recovery and a life of health and freedom from heart troubles. Amen!

If you would like to know more about Jaime’s condition Nickie has posted an email from Jaime’s parents with more details, and they also have a site that has some pictures and more details. Thank you for praying.

    Wow, she looks so healthy.

What a precious girl. I hope that the Lord just carries her through it all.

    Love,

I went to the web site, and it sounds very similar to what Aunt Sherry and Uncle Sam’s little Leah had. I don’t think she had the chamber problem, at that time (over 20 years ago) her problem was called Transposed Pulmonary Arteries. She was a “blue baby” from birth right up til her death at 6 weeks. The way I understood it, one side of her heart was pumping blood from heart to lung, and the other side was pumping unoxygenated blood from heart to body. They went in before she was even a day old to make a hole in her heart between the chambers so that some oxygen could get to the “body side” of the heart. Maybe if there were some of the advances in medicine and surgery that there are now she would have survived the surgery to return the arteries to where they should have been!

    I pray all went well.
