Happy Father’s Day to one of the good ones

We had a great time celebrating our daddies at dad and mom Burns house. I’m so very thankful that our children have such a wonderful father!!
On our way to church I said, “guys, don’t you think that daddy is the best dad in the world?!!!” expecting to hear a resounding, “yeah!!” Chris and I we laughing at Aidan’s realistic response, “well, I don’t think he’s the BEST dad in the world, but he IS a good one, and especially he’s good for our family.” I mean, come on, the best in the world?!!
Well I think so! Love you babe, you are the best!
Well, I have to agree with Aidan that he’s the best for your family! After all, ALL my grandkids have great dads…the best for their family!!! I hope all my sons and sons-in-law had a great Father’s Day. Tam asked Sanford to go get some ice cream last night, he wanted to know what kind. She said, “you decide, after all it’s your day!” Since he was the only father in the house at the time, we gave him the great honor of picking out the ice cream flavor!! (To go with the brownies I made (from a mix) only I misread the directions, I thought it said 1 1/4 cups of water, when it really said 1/4 cup!! I baked it longer, and it was kinda rubbery, but it’s almost gone!!)
