Moving forward again…

Today we got the approval from the underwriter. We have a few things (documents) they need from us, by Friday we will be sending everything their way and then off to the lender. After they get the stuff they need from us they will be able to submit it all to the escrow company and we will be very close to signing on the loan! We are just so thrilled we have gotten this far, it’s really a dream to think that we will hopefully no longer be renters after this month! We are feeling very stretched right now, and trying not to stress but feeling a bit weary of all the paperwork, packing, and distraction while trying to provide a normal daily life for five beautiful kids. This can be hard at times, “Lord please help me to keep my eyes on You and not on what is going on around me, help me to put the hearts of my children first, and help me to have peace in my heart as I trust You to bring Your will about in our lives. Help me to lead our children into trusting in You. We know that we are so unworthy of all these opportunities, I love You Father, You are so good to us.”

By the way Aidan asked me yesterday when he woke up, “Did the bank say they are going to loan us the money?” Well, not yet honey but we may know later on today…Then we were on our way to homeschool co-op and Aidan asked where we were going. I told him and he responded rather disappointed, “Oo-oh, I thought we were going to the bank.” The kids ask me about 10 times a day, “Are we going to move into our new house now? Are we going to fix up the new house today? Are we going to get the money from the bank to buy our new house?” Do you think they are a little excited about buying this new house? I am too, and I ask God those questions about a hundred times a day, thankfully He’s much more patient with me than I am with our children. :)
