Merry Christmas to All!

We had a wonderful Christmas, hope you all did too :) Isn’t it amazing though that we anticipate Christmas for so many weeks and yet we all kind of sigh relief when it’s over?! We had fun staying the night and nana and papa’s on Christmas Eve, and then went down to see my mom and the rest of my family for the weekend. Got back in time to take care of some more details on the house before Chris went back to work today.

Speaking of the house, some of you have asked. We are getting really excited as all the details seem to be falling into place. We have received our purchase agreement from the seller and we have until January 31st to close on the loan. We have been working hard getting all the details worked out. We still have a few things to put together before we can send the paperwork to the lender. Not exactly sure what happens after that :) It’s all been an exciting learning experience, and an adventure for the family. The kids are getting so excited about have a bigger house and having more space. Chris and I sit and dream together what we are going to do with the land, the repairs on the house, I’ve been thinking about paint colors, and carpet, and flooring in the kitchen. It’s all so exciting!

Well, I have a few more things to cross off my to-do list tonight, and I need to feed the family so I better get going! Please continue to pray that the details will come together and we will have God’s favor as we go to the lender.

Thanks for all the Christmas wishes, cards and prayers for our family during this exciting and sometimes tiring time! May God bless you all in the New Year!

Oh man…I was hoping to see some pictures. In fact I was wondering if you could post the ones of our kids on Costco or Walmart so I can order a copy. Pour Conner isn’t even in the one I have on my fridge.

OOhh it is so exciting to hear about the house!

Have you thought about putting in some laminent type wood floors? I don’t know how the cost compares to carpet though. I think it always looks so nice in the living room/kitchen areas.

I am excited to see pictures and continue to watch this unfold! Praying for you all!

Nicole, I will post pictures soon :) So good to see you all over Christmas weekend, we’ll have to do it again soon!

Sara, yes we are going to be doing laminate floors in the kitchen, dining room, laundry room but not in the living room. We have laminate floors in our current house and don’t like it in the living areas because the kids need something soft to play on :) But I agree, it looks nice :) Laminate floors are actually quite a bit cheaper than carpet because of the pad so you have two costs. It’s been fun dreaming about what we are going to put where.
