32 weeks pregnant and a Date!
September 9th, 2008 by Jenni
Here’s the baby, he’s getting bigger and I’m getting “readier” to have him out! It’s been a challenging pregnancy, I would say probably the most challenging of all five (it seems weird to say that, I feel like I’m too young to be pregnant with my fifth child :) I was 32 weeks pregnant on Friday, so I now have 7 1/2 weeks left, I keep thinking it’s going to fly by, and for some people it has but it really hasn’t for me. Oh well, I’m glad though, I don’t think I’m ready to have a baby yet. For those of you who have delivered a baby before, isn’t it amazing how, towards the end we actually look forward to those first pains of labor?! I find it fascinating how our bodies and minds work, right now the thought of labor and delivery freaks me out but I know that in just a few short weeks I will be longing for it to begin! God’s hand is truly amazing.
Saturday was a fun day. We did a bunch of yard work in the morning, then took the kids to Anacortes for donuts. Then we went to Cap Sante, a beautiful look-out on Fidalgo Bay, and the kids did not want to leave. The boys especially were having the time of their lives traipsing all over the rocks! Then we told them, okay boys it’s time to go. “We don’t want to go, we like it here!” Then I told them, “we are going to nana and papa’s.” “Oh, we like nana and papa’s!” And they did, like always, they had a wonderful time and nana and papa took great care of them. They didn’t want to go home, thanks for letting us go on a date, we had so much fun! You can read more about our date on my homemaking blog.
Needless to say, we had a great time just hanging out, and having dinner with some great friends. Overall, it was an amazing day! And I think that is about all I’m going to say about it for now. If you want to see the rest of the pictures you can start here. Good night!

Cute baby bump, Jenni! And, really cute shirt you have on! I love the colors! I’m at the point where I’m outgrowing my clothes, but I don’t want to buy anything bigger, mostly because I’m on bed rest, so I could always just wear pj’s all day, right? LOL! It is also getting cooler down here in Oregon and I’d like to wear long sleeve shirts, but they get in the way of my PICC line and doing my IV’s. Oh well!

jerri
I know what you mean Jerri, I need to buy some pants, I’m outgrowing all of mine and I’m affraid I’m going to need something that is warmer than the other pants I have. I am also going to need some warmer shirts as I’m sure that it will be pretty cool by the time I have the baby at the end of October or beginning of November. Who knows, we could be having our babies right around the same time!
I usually end up wearing a few of Chris’ long sleeved shirts at the end, just sick of having shirts that are too tight and too short and not wanting to go out and buy something else! I knew when I bought that shirt that it would not make it through my whole pregnancy with me :)
What is with your kids and hand foot and mouth disease? That is so sad! Poor little sweetheart! You’re look’n good Jen…or at least you were before this past week. To bad we don’t live closer. I could take a few kidoes off your hands. Hang on! This to shall pass.
