A busy week
I've been meaning to post some pictures of our finished projects but it just hasn't happened, probably later this week :) We had our first Homeschool Co-op today and it went really well.
The kids all had a gymnastics class, a singing time, the older ones had a missions class on Mexico and the younger ones had a craft/Bible class. I'm excited about this group of families meeting together, I think it's going to be great! I wish I would have brought my camera, the gymnastics especially was just too cute!
I'm going to start something on my Homemaking Blog, I've been wanting to share some of my deeper thoughts on being a homemaker and so tonight I did my first post. I shared about How the Wife Sets the Tone in the Home. I'm thinking I want to do this every now and then, sharing the thoughts that are on my heart about how God is challenging me to be a better wife and mother.
I've also added a couple more recipes, Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread and one that's not quite so healthy but kind of, Oatmeal Pecan Coconut Squares with Chocolate Chips. As well, I did another update on my quickly depleting garden. We've so enjoyed having a garden this year, but I'm afraid our weather here in WA has not been ideal for a long lasting garden. Oh well, maybe next year!
Better head to bed, it's getting late and I'm sooo sleepy from a long day. And of course I have heartburn, what better way of forgetting my woes than going to sleep, I know I will wake in the morning without that knawing feeling in my throat! Just a few more weeks and I will be on my way back to normal!
That just reminds me…I still need to get you that recipe! Oops Sorry!
