You're doing a great job bringing up your children.... It's okay to go away by yourself once in a great while.... But don't you think about the kids the whole time you're gone?? I wrote my pastor a whole sermon one year. I was tired of hearing the typical message of how awful my houseband was and how he needs to submit to his wife to make her happy! I let him know that mt houseband helped in making me a mom, but doesn't "make" me a mom!! Being a mom "is" a lot of work, but it is so satisfying and so exciting, we actually get to train those little hearts how to receive the love of the Saviour, and teach them that Jesus is the only one who is actually there all the time......mom needs to sleep! The best mothers day was April 25, 2008 when Randy and I gave our daughters virgin heart to Andrew. To know that what you taught your daughter about purity and it truly grew into "her way" of living is such a blessing! So with three children to go I get three more Mothers Days. I know that a lot of moms finally get recognition for the past year and need that very day for their housebands to see that -Hey you can go a take a bath without the kids today- so you women who do, blessings to you ,but to those of us who have awesome housebands.......Mother day is everyday!!
