We have a new walker in the house!!

Yeah for me! Can I hear some applause?!!! Cait has decided that NOW is a good time to walk. Yesterday she took her first steps, she is going to be 13 months old next week. Definitely my slowest to walk, I'm not complaining, trust me! All the other kids walked at 10 months 3 weeks, I know what happens when these little monsters get more mobile! ;) Hmm, I think I'll hold on a little longer! Um, okay I think I will just hang out here where it's safe... I think I can, I think... Oh...I think I'm doing it! I am I'm doing it, all by myself! I'm really standing! Yeah! Did you see that? Did you see me move my foot forward?!! Yes of course honey, we saw it (so it might have been only about a centimeter but who's counting right?;) No really, she has been consistently taking steps several times a day since yesterday folks. She is just so cute and proud of herself and we make sure we make a big deal out of it since she has been totally uninterested in doing any kind of walking up until just a few days ago. Is she cute or what?!

She is SUCH a doll!! All of your children are… they are all SO happy, and look SO enjoyable to be around! You have such a great family, you should (well, I know you are…) be very very proud… :)

    YEAH!

  4. As someone who has been there. How long does it take them to relize they have to hold the sippy cup over their head to get anything out?

Sarah, I think it’s different for every child, but generally not until about a year or so. Some will get it sooner and some will take longer. I would just keep showing him how to do it and he will get it one of these days :)

What a beautiful baby girl! Could you please bring Cait over to teach Ellis how to walk!

This last picture of Cait is a face that Auntie Bev makes. :o) Isn’t it funny how different expressions resemble the generations. We’re always trying to figure out “who they look like”. Their own little person made up of all of us in the family. :o) I love it. Caitee Cait is so sweet and cute. How quickly a year passes. I can’t help but wonder what type of expressions and personality my little Eva will have in a year. What a great family we have. Love you! – Carrie
