Another Update
I talked to my doctor yesterday after he had looked at the report from my CT scan. He said that it is not very likely that my symptoms were stemmed from the small tumors on my adrenal gland, as the symptoms would be continuous and would most likely be accompanied with high blood pressure, so that was good news. He explained that the tumors have most likely been there all or most of my life, kind of like a mole or a freckle. But because it is an abnormality they will schedule an MRI for after the baby comes, if at that time the tumors are any different the would probably do a biopsy but he is pretty sure that they will not have changed and that I wont have to worry about them again.
He was also saying that he's had patients come in before saying, "I want a full body scan!" and he said, that's not a good idea. Most every one has some kind of cyst or tumor or abnormality that is just part of your internal makeup, non threatening, and yet abnormalities like a mole or birthmark. I thought that was so interesting, especially since he said I also had a cyst in my liver and how that is very common. Nevertheless, it will be nice to have the MRI just to be 100% sure it's nothing.
In regards to my symptoms, I haven't really been having the symptoms I had at the beginning of the week. But I still do get dizzy a lot, he was saying it may have to do with being slightly hypoglycemic. Which basically means that if I eat sugar I need to eat protein with it to help my body balance it out, I get a sugar rush and then a crash and can feel the racing heart/dizziness from that. So, basically if I am going to eat chocolate, I need to eat some peanut butter with it ;) I don't think that was my problem on Monday, I hadn't had any sugar on Monday, who knows?! But it's good to know that it was not an emergent problem and that if it happens again I can just take a break and wait to feel better, good excuse to have a seat and read to my kids :) Thanks everyone for your prayers and your concerns. I'm glad this week is behind me. Now looking forward to hopefully welcoming a new niece into the family tomorrow!
Another week to go and you should be feeling perky again!
Jenni!!!!
Wonderful!!

Glad to hear you aren’t feeling as yucky as before! You know, the South Beach Diet also tells about the sugar/protien thing. It is about mixing the right foods. I think that’s the best diet too if you are interested in dieting any time in the future. It has worked best for my family. We’ll keep praying for you and your littlest blessing as well!
So did you get to see that baby this weekend like expected?? Bless you sweetie.
Jenni,
I’m hypoglycemic, especially during pregnancy. I’ve learned by reading and from my own experience that some things are worse than sugar (i.e. they are processed even more quickly and cause a faster crash): white flour is among the worst. Also potatoes, and cereal – even the semi-healthy ones!
See you in a couple of weeks.
