Happy 2nd Birthday Guenevere!
March 15th, 2008 by Jenni
In just two years! Two years ago today I was reveling in the joy of the birth of my first born daughter. She was a little princess from day one and such a joy. There have been so many precious moments with this little girl these past two years. (And if I wasn’t pregnant with our fifth child I might have more energy to expound on some of those precious moments. I might have also uploaded more than two pictures of her little birthday party:)
We are so in love with you Guenevere Grace. You are a beautiful little girl, a sweet little sister and a loving big sister. You have spunk and life and a sweet and nurturing heart. I can see God’s beauty in your heart as He shapes and molds you into His little woman. I can’t tell you how much of an honor I consider it to be your mother. You challenge me every day to be a better example of a mother, you copy everything I do and you push me into the arms of God, and cause me to seek to be more like Him. Sometimes I imagine what life will be like when you are 30 and what a great friend you will be, until then you will be my little companion, at my side washing dishes with me and our other companion, a large bath towel to wipe up your “spills.” I see a little mother in your two year old heart who wants to do everything all by herself. And it brings tears to my eyes, God picked me to be the one to lead you to Him. Wow, I’m so blessed.
I love you Guenevere Grace. You are truly a princess, (oh, I mean Queen! in the making:)

What a LOVE! Mothering skills are perfected when we have little girls. Sometime they are also the very ones that cause us to look at our mothering and question what we are doing…..are we doing it right?? I am sure as she grows older she will challenge you to grow in godly character and maybe she will even change your heart towards a situation because her way will be the right way!! Walk in humility and allow God to use your relationship with Guenevere to make you “her momma” the one who knows her heart more then anyone…in fact no one will know it more then you until marriage when you give her heart to her lover. But until that time allow her to be that princess with a pacifier!!
Love you
Kelley
How precious! I can’t believe that 2 years has flown by…again. Time sure flies when you have fun…and kids. God bless you Guenna! You have a wonderful family and you will blossom along side them even more!
You are such a sweet mom! Happy birthday Guenevere!!! :)
Happy Birthday to Guenna! These years are flying by so quickly. I’ve got to be honest, I’m the tiniest bit envious of your two daughters! I stopped after my two boys, although I would have loved to have had a daughter. After all, there is that saying, “A son is a son until he takes him a wife, a daughter’s your daughter for all of her life!” I can imagine that bringing up a daughter with the aim of helping her to be a good woman, with the possibility of showing her how to be a good wife and mother must be very satisfying. Love to you all :)
Hey Jen…not that you don’t have enough to do, but I was checking on your prenancy blog since your recent news of expecting and it’s out of date?! Are you going to be using the prego blog and follow this pregnancy?
