Better urgent care then the ER! Maybe you should invest in some super glue...then you can fix it yourself. I think Elizabeth and Aiden are similar...She to would be traumatized by stitches. She just had a filling at the dentist and Cried during the procedure. Afterwards she told me it hurt a little bit. I wanted to ask her why she cried like it hurt a lot, but I didn't. Silly girl. Scars are manly right?

Oh, I am so sorry, but grateful that he is okay and doing well. We often see those same sort of incidents around these parts...

I had a similar date like that with Judah on New Years Eve. Fun...sorta?! I love 1-on-1 time with my kiddos and value it.

I'm so glad to hear that Aidan is ok and that he didn't have to have stitches. I can totally relate to you in that it is so important to have some alone time with each child. This doesn't happen on a daily basis, but I make sure it does on a weekly basis. I think that the older they get the more important that talking time is, to both them and Mom. Some of my best talks with my children are at night when the house is quiet.

I'm envious that you are able to have fresh eggs every day. Sometimes I wish that we lived out in the country where we could have our own cow and chickens for fresh milk, eggs and meat.

I know I don't comment often but I check up on your blog daily. You are an amazing Momma!

Love in Christ,
Sue

Mom, I was thinking of those days with our waffle-stompers, skating on Grandpa's pond. It was especially good when we had a lot of rain so there was a nice big flat area to skate on. :) His boots, one is missing, I think it is probably under my bed!

Tam, yes that was Aidan taking the picture, doesn't he do a good job centering the picture? He also took that picture of his food, must be from seeing me take pictures of our food all the time :) I should put it on my homemaking blog! I know, my hair is out of control, I haven't had it cut since shortly after Cait was born. :)

Hey! Did Aidan take the picture of you, with your long, lucious hair, at McDonalds?! That was a good picture! At first I imagined it was Chris, but it couldn't be, since you were on a date with you 2nd biggest boy. Well, the cuteness rages on! I'm really glad everything turned out o.k. that night. Love you guys!

Not too bad!! I'm glad he didn't have to get stitches! I can remember you kids "ice skating" on the mud puddles,l but you had the most fun when Grandpa's little pond up front froze over!! Bye the way, where are Aidan's boots? His "I love you, too, Mommie," brought tears to my eyes!! Especially when he said, "we haven't said that to each other for a few days!" What a reminder that we need to say that often to the ones we love!!
