Mom knows best

Aidan - “Daddy, can we put on those costumes?” Mind you, they had just removed ALL of the costumes and girls dresses from their hangers in their closet and the discipline had been, applied.
Daddy - “No, you’re not going to be able to put on those costumes.”
Aidan - “Um, daddy, can you go ask mommy, because mommy knows everything.”
That’s strange, he wasn’t saying that earlier today when I was talking to him about squirming in church! :)

I love it…and I agree… mom’s do know best! (Because they have the partnership of the dads.)
San asked me, “Where did he learn to do that?”
Hmmm. I don’t think kids need to learn how to work the system. Those are the kinds of innate things we have to help them unlearn. Hilarious story, though! I can just see him, matter-of-factly negotiating. :)
