Christmas Pictures finally uploaded

We had a very fun Christmas this year. We spent a lot of time with family. It was really neat staying at my mom's house for almost a week and a half, and getting to spend so much time with family. We had a really simple Christmas as far as gifts were concerned. We did the new PJ's on Christmas Eve, and then Christmas morning we had one gift for each of the kids, and one small toy in their stocking, nothing else. Like I said, it was simple but affordable and the kids felt special and blessed. We didn't buy a gift for Cait, she got to help open presents and that is all she wanted to do anyway! Really though, all the kitchen stuff is for both Cait and Guenna. P1260540P1260545 We got the girls a cooking set from Costco and it has turned out to be such a blessing. I've got Guenna all set up with her own little kitchen in mommy's kitchen. She's a busy own, a doer, and she definitely needs activity otherwise she gets herself into trouble. I was just telling Chris tonight, if I don't know where Guenna is and she is being quiet, it is almost a 100% guarantee that she is doing something she shouldn't be doing. She is quite the clever little girl, and very capable. So we have to keep her within eye shot, all the time! P1260573P1260579 Okay, I had to post this picture of our Christmas Eve party with the Webster clan. Our family is growing so large that we used the entire Orting Assembly of God church for our Christmas party, and it was so nice this year to be able to get away from the noise and actually fit into a room :) Anyway, we had a very sweet program of different people singing and Tam and Rebekah did a hula with a live nativity scene at the end of the song, that was beautiful. Chris and I led a few Christmas hymns at the end of the program and I love this picture, Cait looks like she is joyfully singing along, and did you get a look at Eamon's cute little behind? Is that just priceless or what? At one point Guenna was on the stage doing the hula, after having watched autie do her hula right before us. Kids are amazing! P1260535P1260529 We got to see lots of family while we were in Orting, cousins are the best! My kids made a connection with their cousins that I don't think they have ever really made before (I mean with their cousins from Missouri) it was wonderful to see them all playing together and having such a jolly time! P1260595P1260602 Cait just couldn't get enough of that sweet little cousin Ellis, he is just edible! And speaking of edible, uncle got a few chances to get some baby time in. He's so good with all the kids, definitely one of their favorites :) P1260591P1260585 My mom and I were so blessed to spend some time with my good friend Nicole and her mom (and of course our eight children, but that goes without saying right?) Oh yeah and just for fun, Nicole's sister Lanaya dropped off her three children so there were 11 kids! Almost immediately when we walked in the door, Haley, who is not much older than Guenna began to beg to hold "the baby" who is almost as big as she is. But doesn't she look like she is taking her job as a big girl so seriously?! We went over for breakfast and had some yummy wholewheat blueberry pancakes! P1260604P1260608 P1260618P1260626 It's always so good to see Grandma Webster. Her health is not the best but she still loves to hold the babies, if we can't get Grandma to wake up we just bring in one of the babies and she will always wake up for a baby, isn't that amazing? And of course, the babies love her, especially for her oxygen tube :) She is endless hours of fun for all! And she is sitting so close to this wonderful Christmas tree!  I love to see her but so wish she had more energy and spunk like the old days when she was always so sassy. What a beautiful woman, Juanita Jean Webster. P1260667Great Grandma and the Nash/Burns babies It was so fun to get to spend lots of time with my mom and dad, and all of us kids being together. One of the days we had tons of fun helping mom organize and get a few things fixed in her home, we all wish we were closer, mom you are just going to have to move up our way one of these days! :) Hanging out with big grandpaP1260629 It was sooooo good to see my sister, I miss her so much and it's hard being so far away from her. She is my closest friend (other than Chris), and we look forward to the day when she and San and the littlest Watanabe get to move over here, we are all praying it is soon! And it was sooooo good to see my brother Andrew, and sister in law Andrea, and get to spend so much time with my niece and nephews, they are all so precious. We miss them already so much and wish they would move here! Or at least that they would blog more often! ;) Straitening Tam's hairP1260735 And here we are, our whole family together (the kids were not up taking the picture so we just took one of the adults who are much more easily coerced into such things :) I love my family and am so thankful for this past Christmas and all the time we were able to spend together. We are hoping and praying that it wont be five years between reunions again next time. Well, if you made it with me through to the end of this post, you are a real trooper! Good night and a late Merry Christmas! P1260697P1260681
