New Years Resolutions

Well, I have a lot of them but here are just a few…

1. Keep my husband at the top of my priority list, with 4 small kids this can be a challenge at times but I want this year to really focus on this.

2. Go through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class with Chris, and begin the process of getting out of debt. I think we can do it in two years. This is the year we are going to make a plan and stick to it.

3. Get back on track with my diet. I’ve lost another 10 pounds since I had Cait but want to get refocused on eating good healthy meals, and lots of fresh produce.

4. Get my daily schedule organized. If I do this I can keep up with the household duties, homeschool, work, and still keep my sanity. I need a good plan and then stick to it. :)

5. Discover joy in all this busyness every day. And teach my children above all to find joy in everything that God has in store for us, every day.

I know there are more, but another one of my New Year’s Resolutions needs to be, go to bed earlier, and get up earlier. So (it’s too late to do that today), I will start that tomorrow :) Good night!

Hey Jenni, How are you? Our life got crazy with Kevin and Anne visiting and my boys were in a Christmas play, etc… however, I haven’t forgotten our playdate… and now that the holidays are officially over we will make it happen, lets make that a new year resolution too! You are so great, my only new year resolution that I had thought about was #1 (I totally get the four little ones thing) and I decided that I would be more consistent with lifting weights and eating better this year. I always get really discouraged when I make weight loss goals and don’t reach them, so I thought if I am just more consistent than (hopefully) all will go well in the weight area (having kids one right after another will do that to us)! And hey, who knows, maybe we will get pregnant this year too, you just never know what the Lord may have in the future, bless you and your family much.

  5. How is the FPU class going (Have you started yet) We’ve got a support going for people following the Dave Ramsey plan on one board I’m on. “Better than we Deserve” come join us — http://forums.ovusoft.com/tm.asp?m=8647622&p=1&tmode=1&cookieCheck=268496564

Hmm, I might be interested in the forum but the link didn’t work?

We ran across a book I think you would like “Eat Right 4 Your Type” all about the blood types and why different diets work for different people. We’ve had great success here with both weight loss and better tummies! If you have a chance, look for it at the library next time you’re out. Or just read my blog, I tend to talk about it a lot. ;)
Happy New Year! I love the going to bed resolution!!
