Homeschool Dance

Homeschool Dance from Christian Burns on Vimeo. We go to a homeschool co-op every other Thursday. There are usually six families that attend and between the six of us mom's there are 30 kids! We have a lot of fun with the kids and do neat projects with them, drama/sewing/nutrition/sign language/computers, and for the preschoolers, phonics/Bible/crafts/playdough. So the first thing that people ask us when we tell them that we are homeschooling is, "what about socialization?!" I'm pretty sure our kids are not starved for friends, we are so blessed! I was just so glad I had my camera to take a little video of the cute little ones dancing to some worship songs. Guenna and David were so cute!

That is so adorable!!! I love how the little boy keeps coming up to Guenna, taking her hands, and dancing with her! Too cute!!!

Oh, that was precious. Her initial hesitancy (yet you could SEE she wanted to dance) was so cute.

I love the “what about socialization?” comments to us crazy homeschoolers! Zach and I have been joking about teaching Sloan (he’s 3) to say “what’s school?” when he is older, or when people ask us just saying “yeah, we don’t do anything at all, we don’t believe in schooling” now that would get quite the crazy reaction! We are just kidding though, but we try to not even call it homeschooling, when they are doing “school” work we call it seatwork. The Bible and everything around us is our school…

That is great. Hey could you find out what music cd was playing? It’s sounds like a good one. I’m always looking for good worship music for my kids.
