Aidan pretty much knows it all. It’s hard when you are 4 1/2 years old and people think you are just a kid and don’t know much. Not so with Aidan. He used to ask me often, “Mommy, am I an adult now?” My thought was, “if you have to ask, the answer is no.”  :)

Today during nap time, Aidan doesn’t nap anymore, so it was just the younger three napping and Cait had woken up to nurse. I was feeling like I could use a little rest so I went in and laid down to nurse the baby and Aidan was hanging out with us in my room. It was a lazy moment. Aidan broke the silence with, “I’m so excited that we are going to have another baby!” I’m thinking, “where on earth did that come from?!!” I asked, “Who told you we are going to have another baby?” He begins to explain, “Well, when Cait has all her teeth then we will have another baby, and then when that one has all it’s teeth we will have another, and then another, and then another, and then another, until that one has a wife, and then your body wont provide an egg and that means you’ll be a grandma!” OH, really?! Wow. I’m just glad to know that I have at least until Cait has all her teeth until we have another baby. If life were so simple, eh?
