Potty Training
We are well under way with potty training in the Burns' household. In fact Eamon isn't wearing diapers at all! Not even for naps and bed time! He still has at least one accident a day but that's why we have lots of underwear :) Aidan is now wearing underwear to bed at night. It has taken seeing that his brother could do it, and the permission to get up whenever he wants to, to go to the bathroom, he was pretty excited about that. So we've had a couple successful days behind us on the night time dry undies, and probably a few accidents in the future. But we are on the right track, and I'm determined to save some $ on diapers :) Guenna is my next target, she is really seeming like she will be ready soon. She loves to sit on the potty and loves candy so I figure I will lure her with candy once she goes in the potty and maybe I will only have one in diapers, is this possible?! I'm not holding my breath, I know one day I wont have tons of diapers to change every day, I can wait. These moments are priceless, I wont let a few dirty diapers get me down :) But there has been a lot of hard work going on around here, in the bathroom, and a lot of rejoicing from mommy! Way to go Eamon, I knew you could do it!
Wow!
Good going Aidan AND Eamon.
Way to go, Eamon and Aidan! (And Jenni!)
From what I’ve heard (and in my experience), girls are quicker to potty train than boys, so Guenna may be ready soon!
