Our dear friends need some prayer right now. John and Adele Aguilar (they are our formers pastors from Orting where I grew up), their daughter Lauren who is 12 or 13, is at Children's hospital right now. She was flown to Children's last night from the ER here, she had been sick all week and was not getting better, last night she got real bad and then was not responding so they rused her to the ER. She is stable now, but has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and had swelling on the brain. She is out of the coma, but still really sick and tired. They will begin classes tomorrow to learn how to care for her, she will be in the hospital for a few more days. If there are specific needed in the near future, or prayer requests we will keep you posted.
This is obviosly a very trying time for them, I know they are extremely thankful that Lauren is okay but at the same time facing some real challenges in their future, especially Lauren. Please pray with us for their whole family.
Dear Father we pray that you will surround Lauren, John, Adele, Lindsey and Luke with your presence. That they will know your truth and that they will have the faith to put their trust in You and in Your sovereignty. We ask that You will touch little Lauren's body and that she will have peace in knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her. We pray that You will be glorified through all of this. We pray that you will give Lauren the strength to be brave, that fear with not overtake her but Your strength will lift her up and help her to face the road ahead of her. In all things we bless your name Father. Thank you for holding this dear family in Your hands. Amen.
We will be praying for this sweet darling!
San and I will pray for her everyday.
We are praying – I talked with Pastor John yesterday. Lauren just turned 11, she’s the same age as our son Nathan. So our whole family is lifting her up.
Thank you for the prayers!
Thanks Susie, it’s hard to keep track sometimes :) Blessings!
It was a real relief to hear yesterday that she was getting out of ICU. I hope that is still true. Perry started praying for her when he rec’d a text msg from John. God is great becuz Perry doesn’t know how to read Txt msgs, so the fact that he got this one was truly from God! And he wasn’t sure who it was from until I talked to Mona Kinni on Sunday! He put the names together then but had been praying anyway! Our prayers for the family have been non stop as we know you all have prayed for us in our times of need. Its great to have such loving and caring friends. Jenni if you could let us know when visitors can go to the hospital that would be wonderful. Take care all,Robin
Pastor Dale, my mom and I (and my girls of course) were able to go visit Lauren and the family in the hospital yesturday. Lauren was doing so much better. She is starting to get a bit of an appitite back (not much but some). They took her IV’s out while we were there. They will be in classes a lot. I’m not sure when the best time to visit would be due to all the classes. It was great to see them. Let’s not forget to pray for emotional stability and support for Pastor John and Adele as well. This has been a tough road for all. I know they so appreciate everyone support through prayer! We can specifically pray that the state insurance will be retro-active to cover all the medical bills because they don’t have medical insurance. I can’t imagine how much just the air lift alone would cost. But thank you Jesus she was able to have it because she would have probably gone to be with Jesus if she hadn’t.
I just noticed that the link you have on your side bar to my blog takes people to my old blog. With all the spare time you have could you please update the link! Thanks babe!
