Lauren's diagnosis with diabetes is another reminder to be thankful for healthy children! I was going to remind you that she is eleven, (remember she is just a few month's older than Aariah?) but Susie had already brought that to your attention. For a moment I was thinking about another Susie and another Nathan, but that Nathan is only nine! :) I have always been thankful for the health of my children, in spite of too many visits to the ER for stitches, "road rashes", concussions, and broken bones, etc., you were always in good health, and for that I was very grateful!!

My youngest sister, Kristen, was diagnosed with a rare form of AML (acute myelogenous leukemia) almost six years ago at the age of 15...Your post served as a wonderful reminder that, but by God's wonderful grace and protection, she would not never have survived. Thank you for helping us remember God's many blessings in our lives! Every time we celebrate Jesse's birthday (whose birth came very shortly after my sister's heartbreaking diagnosis), I am reminded again of God's wonderful care and compassion.

Well, on the subject of parents... Carol and I had Dad and Mom over tonight and they were asking about you Burns'. It was nice to pull up your site and links to pictures of your little one's. They were glad to hear that you were doing well and saw that life was good to you with such happy faces abounding...

Hi Burns Family

Off subject from your post...but I was wondering if you would like a couple of passes to Remlinger Farms in Marysville. The are coupons for two people to enjoy the fun at the Farm...what all you get to do with them I'm not exactly positive. But they are good through Labor Day. I was going to take some friends up there; however, finding time to go to Marysville for the day before I move is kind of hard!

If you'd like check out remlingerfarms.com and then email me your address and I'll get them in the mail to you.... rachelannmac@hotmail.com

Blessings
