Well, we are going on night number 5, no thumb and binkie! Yeah :) Eamon is doing really well. He asks for it once in a while but we say no and he’s pretty much okay with it. It’s been harder for Aidan. He told me today. “I’m done sucking my thumb mom. So I don’t need the Band-Aid at bed time anymore.” Um, yeah. Maybe not quite yet. :) It’s been hard for him but slowly he’s doing better and better. The first couple nights he cried for a while and the last couple nights the boys have been just really whiny and I think it’s because they are missing something, part of their night time routine, but they will get used to it, it will just take some time. I’m thinking that if they are doing this good now, by the time we get back from Hawaii we will get them their bunnies. Aidan, when he’s really wanting to suck his thumb he just tells me that he doesn’t want a bunny. But then when he’s not wanting his thumb he talks excitedly about the bunny and I know that they will so love having a bunny. I’ve also decided that after we get back from Hawaii I’m going to work on potty training Eamon. He will be three in October, I think October is a good goal :) I was thinking, man, Guenna will be 17 months then, I should just potty train her while I’m training Eamon! We’ll see if I have that much energy come August :)
My other update is about our camera. We found out what happened to it, Aidan told us :) It was sitting on a counter (I didn’t think Guenna could reach it), and she played with it and dropped it while it was on, which is the worse time to drop it. Too expensive to fix it, so we went ahead and bought a new one and we are happy with it. Certain features we like better and certain features we like our old one better but that’s life right? :) Our new camera is a Panasonic DMC-TZ3 we like it, and I’m glad we got it now so we can figure it out before we go to Hawaii. Only about a month and a half until we leave! It’s going to be so much fun. Well, good night.
I saw the headline had UPDATE in it, then I was listening to River as I was reading and thought it said, “We are going on number 5!” As in a 5th baby! LOL. Oh, I have to learn to do onething at a time (Is that possible as a mommy?) and slow down and be careful when reading! Wow, night number 5 with no binkies or thumbs! That is great! I am sure they will love their new bunnies. I have neer had one, i’m interested to see how it goes, River will be ble to get a pet at about 7, maybe a bunny is a good idea. Hawaii sure sounds nice, good thing you bought another camera! I couldn’t imagine going to Hawaii and not taking a camera!

Good luck with Eamon. My sister is trying to potty train my (4years in September) nephew. She’s ready to be done with diapers.
Sara, I was at work when I read the UPDATE, and my first reaction was just like yours!! Then I read it again, thinking, “she would tell me, she wouldn’t let me read that on her blog!!” Whew!! Just #5 DAY!!
And Sarah, Tamara is getting married in Hawaii in Aug. Surely you couldn’t have missed THAT piece of news!! :)
Jen, Guenna will probably be easier than Eamon, girls usually are easier. Maybe they will both be done at the same time! :)
That’s funny :) No more babies on the way yet, and yes mom you would find out some other way than in a blog entry with the rest of the world! Some things are sacred and new babies are definitely that!
Thanks for answering questions for me. Yes, we are going to my sister’s wedding in July/August. Really looking forward to her wedding, it will be a fun vacation too!
