Husband for my daughter?
June 3rd, 2007 by Jenni
Yestday I was cutting the boys hair, Aidan was squirming a bit and I told him that when he is a man mommy wont cut his hair anymore but his wife will so he needs to learn how to sit still so that when his wife does it he can honor her by sitting still :) He began, “yeah, and one day Caitriona will be out looking for a husband and I will say, ‘No, I will be your husband!’” Oh really? Yeah.
He will also often talk about how one day Caitriona will be his wife and Guenna will be Eamon’s wife. Well, I think their father might have something to say about that! I’m sure that these little girls whom you think we’ve provided for wives for you will convince you two to play hours and hours of “house” over the coming years! Guenna already totes her little baby doll all over the place, under her left arm just like mommy carries Cait, and will often stop what she’s doing to giver her baby a wet slobbery kiss on her bald head. What fun!

How precious that Guenna & Cait will always have 2 BIG brothers watching out for them…and ONE BIG Daddy, too!
Has Aidan ever told you why he thinks he will marry Cait and Eamon will marry Guenna? I would think it would be the other way around, oldest boy and oldest girl, etc. Maybe he thinks he would be in trouble with his strong-willed sister! :)
“yeah, and one day Caitriona will be out looking for a husband and I will say, ‘No, I will be your husband!’
Oh my goodness, that just cracked me up! Too funny thinking she will be on an expedition in search of her true love. And then he saves her. What a sweet brother. :)
