Here is a close-up of Caitriona’s quilt I started last week. I’m learning a lot as I go and my neighbor who’s been sewing for many years more than I is teaching me some things, isn’t it great how the Lord puts people in our lives to help us grow? I love it.

Here is a picture of the whole thing. I still have two more borders and then need to fill, back and quilt it. I really love being creative with quilting. I told Chris that I lay in bed and design in my head and then I get it done quickly because I want to see what I’ve created to see if it looks as pretty as I imagined. I am happy with how this is turning out. The things I create in my head don’t always turn out as pretty as I think they will. :) I hope that Caitriona will cherish this creation for years to come!

Jenni, It’s beautiful! Love your choice of colors.

Guenna sure does look like she loves her baby sister in the pic above. :)

Wow Jenni, it’s beautiful! What a special gift for Caitriona, something special she will probably keep for her whole life (well, maybe I’m being optimistic, but I would keep something like that forever!)
