No time for blogging these days it seems. Tonight I've been working on Caitriona's quilt. I've been dreaming about making a quilt for this baby for months but I didn't know the gender so I just had a hard time investing the time when I may need to do another one! So I waited, I got really far on it tonight, pictures soon :)
Right now I need to get my baby and go to bed. I never put her to bed in her bed next to my side of the bed, until I go to bed, it's just too far away. She's such a little cutie, I would miss her! Caitriona will be six weeks old tomorrow, wow! That went by fast!
Good night!
Jenni,
I can’t wait to see the quilt! Long hours sacrificed
without sleep. Great-Grandma Eva will be pleased she had a part in it, as I know it will always be special to Cait. You’re an amazing mom and I’m so proud you’re our daughter-in-law. I hope someday you can show me how to quilt!
Love you!
Mom
Thanks mom! Looking forward to the baby shower tomorrow, I will bring what I’ve finished so far. I would love to know more about quilting myself :) I find that my lack of knowledge slows me down a bit too, oh well! It’s fun anyway!
As my e-mail address indicates, that’s what I love to do and I would love to teach you about quilting. You also have a great resource at Sewer’s Dream – many fantastic teachers, books, supplies and fabric await you….I’ll see you tomorrow – if only for a few moments as I had a family activity thrown in at the last minute…
“You would miss her”…how sweet is that?
What a loving Mommy!
Looking forward to pictures too. :)
