Could it be?

Well it’s definitely too early to say but I’ve been having some signs tonight that we could be having this baby sooner than later. I’ve been having sporatic contractions about 10-15 minutes apart since about 7:00 along with some other signs but who knows they could all go away as soon as I lie down. I’m hoping if the baby does decide to come tonight that I will get at least a couple of good hours of sleep before labor really kicks in. The contractions are kind of funny, I feel it getting going and then it will just stop, definitely not regular but anyhow we are closer than we were yesterday! :) Soon my little babe will be in my arms, I’m really getting excited to meet him or her! Especially to know whether we are having a girl or a boy!
We always enjoy our midwife appointments. The kids love to go, they always want to get up on the bed and listen to our baby’s heart beat. I think they are getting really excited for the baby to come. Aidan has been asking me every day to tell them “the story about when you had Eamon, or Guenna or Aidan,” so I’ve told them one of my birth stories each night the last three nights, and he does not forget to remind me to tell the next one the next night. I have a feeling if I don’t have this baby tonight he’s going to ask me to start over with him tomorrow night :) That’s okay. Then tonight after I was done he asked me, “tell me the story about when you were born mommy!” I told him he needed to ask nana Judi about that story, so mom I’m sure you will be asked! I can’t wait for you to come, it’s going to be fun to have you with us for this coming week! It feels like winter break :) Well, some one asked if I had gotten most of my things marked off my list and the answer is yes. I feel like I’m okay to go into labor at any time. I’ve got the most important things marked off, in fact I just put a load of laundry in the wash that has a couple girl outfits in it, they smelled funny from being washed after the fire. It’s going to be so good to dress our little one!
Anyone want to guess when the baby will come? Or the gender? I will keep my guess to myself. Well, I think we might have finally decided on a boy name, but when the baby is born, if it’s a boy then we will decide if it fits or not :) Good night, better get some rest!
Sorry Jen your baby is just going to have to wait. I’m going to go on a spontaneous overnight get a way with my love. He gets tomorrow and the weekend off. I’ll give you a call tomorrow late morning to see how things are going. I hope he/she waits so I can be there…but I would never ask him/her to for that reason alone. Love ya!
Well, I’m not going on any get-aways with my love, unfortunately, so you can have the baby whenever you want. ;-P Just teasing, Nicole, by the way it was fun talking to you the other night.
I guess that the baby will be born on Friday night and she will be a girl and you will name her after her long lost Auntie on a distant island. he he! Just putting my order in. :-) Love you sis! Just a little while and you will have a brand new baby!! Yippeeeee!! You can even have someone call me when you start going into serious labor! Definitely, though, when my new niece is born. he he
