Snow-AGAIN?
It snowed all morning! I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked outside and saw the white stuff coming down, mixed with a lot of rain. But then it changed to big huge flakes and no rain, snowed for about four hours and then stopped(thankfully), and now I am glad to report that it is melting. I was mostly not wanting it to snow because Chris and I are going to be gone for the weekend and I didn't want to repeat our Anniversary weekend in which we ended up having to change plans several times because of the weather. We don't have an option of changing plans this time as we are going to a Blogging Conference in Vancouver Canada, leaving tomorrow morning, very early, and coming back tomorrow night. Mom and Dad Burns will be watching the kids over night tonight since we have to leave so early. So I'm thankful that the snow has stopped and that our plans will not be foiled! :) The snow is pretty though and the kids enjoy it, Aidan started asking about going outside as soon as he saw the snow. My response was, "yeah right! It's way too wet out there to go play in it!" A little later he was looking outside at the snow coming down and said, "God must be really happy since He's making it snow, thank you God for making it snow today." Oh my, that statement was worth the worries of a spoiled weekend :) Thanks God for the snow today, you must have been thinking of Aidan! :)
I think God wanted Aiden to be happy and play in the snow. Are you going to let him go outside and get all wet and dirty and stinky?? I would!!!. Love you guys.

Oh I wasn’t worried about him getting wet and dirty, I was more concerned about myself, I know if he wants to make a snowman I have to be there making the snowman! I’m 34 weeks pregnant and have two other children who wouldn’t be very fond of the snowmaking event! Which puts a little damper on me wanting to bundle three very small children up when I know two of them will not want to be outside for more than say two minutes :) If it was just Aidan, I would have happily sent him outside! Looking forward to spring!
