New recipes

I’ve posted several new healthy recipes to my Homemaking blog that you may enjoy. Most of them I haven’t tried but I know people who have :)

I’ve been wanting to start doing more juicing and I’ve asked a couple of my friends to share some of their favorite Juicing Recipes with me, if you have any more (Jana) I would love to add them to my list of juice recipes to try!

Another yummy healthy snack-Buckwheatie Bars, they taste good, think of them as a healthy version of Rice Crispy Bars. :)

A nice fall dinner meal - Squash Bisque-from my friend Rana

And this recipe was delicious! Cowboy Caviar is kind of a fresh salsa plus! Very yummy and refreshing. I’m going to try this next week since I’ve run out of grocery money for the week :)

And I couldn’t remember if I had linked to this one earlier, I posted the recipe awhile back, for Bran Flax Muffins and I am going to make them tonight. I have all my dishes done and I love to reward myself for my hard work in the kitchen by making a new healthy recipe that I’ve never tried, I love it when I have all the ingredients (or at least can substitute the ones I don’t have!) Hope you enjoy the new recipes I’ve added! It’s kind of funny that I reward myself by dirtying more dishes isn’t it? :)

By the way, I’m so glad I have good friends who will share their healthy recipes with me :) If you have some and are holding out on me, please share :)

I know this is random, but I was reading up and had a question…did you cut Guenna’s hair yet, or is it all natural still? You never can tell with some little munchkins…especially ones like mine with fine, whispy hair!

Oh…and by the way…great job on the weight gain! I know how discouraging it is to gain weight, even if it’s completely the natural part of being prego, but it’s always good to lose a little excess! Keep up the good work!

Hi Robin, no we haven’t cut Guenna’s hair yet, still has her baby whispies :) Daddy doesn’t want to cut it until it looks bad :) She’s got really long thin hair in the back but at least it’s evenly thin and long!
