Life without cellphones?

Today I was doing some business over my cellphone, which is the only phone in the house, we decided that if we had to pay for one phone it would be a mobile phone. I don’t have a vehicle right now so I’m pretty much stuck at home, and while I was on the phone, taking care of something that needed to be done, I was thinking to myself, “what was life like before cell phones?!” Even though it wasn’t that long ago for me, it’s hard for me to remember. I think I’ve only had a cell phone for about 5 or 6 years now, Chris got me my first one while we were courting, and I just can’t imagine going back! It’s kind of the same with the computer, we learn to rely on it so heavily that it’s hard to imagine life without it! So if you are one of those who has yet to jump on the band wagon you might want to check into getting a Verizon cell phone. Wirefly Mobile can help you get started, they can get you set up with a great phone with the plan and company of your choice and for a great deal! It’s a great place to look for a plan because you can compare the plans that the different cell phone companies offer, from an inexpensive plan with not very minutes to a family plan with multiple phones. Sounds like they have some pretty great deals, and free phones for those of you who want to start fresh! Check them out they may have just what you are looking for!

My husband and I have kind of thought the same thing… if we only had 1 phone it’d be the cellphone.
However, cellphones are much more expensive than the housephone. So… We’ll see what happens.
I know that before my cellphone I made MANY fewer phone calls. Esp long distance. The big advantage to the cellphone for me is being able to keep in touch with far away family.
Yeah, since my family is strewn all over the US it’s nice to be able to talk to them without paying a ton of money, thankfully most of my immediate family use the same company as we do.
