Thankful for the little things

Today is the day I’m doing the bills (or one of the days, I do them a lot it seems!) I don’t know about any of you but I love doing the bills, I love organizing, consolidating, making things right, and yet it can be a discouraging task when you think you have more than you had or you feel as though you’ve taken five large steps backwards instead of taking small steps forward. But in spite of those feelings, I know that God supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory. And in spite of the minor discouragements I felt at times today regarding our finances, we were still blessed in so many ways today.
Aidan expressed his thankfulness for mommy’s cooking and working tonight at our prayer time, that was so sweet. I too am thankful for his tender and caring and thoughtful heart. His daddy expressed to him how he loves how thoughtful he is and how much he loves his willingness to help out and that is so true he really is willing to help clean up messes and put things back almost whenever we ask. It’s encouraging to know that we wont always bear the load alone, and it’s good to know that we wont always be in this place financially, God is good and He gives wisdom to those who ask! We need Your wisdom Lord and then the strength to carry out your instructions.
Good night, wisdom says, don’t stay up too late!
