Coffee fanatics

We went shopping tonight (one of the craziest shopping days of the year, but we had a little more to do and got it finished tonight so we can “relax” tomorrow). When we got home we were all a bit tired, especially the boys, and mostly Aidan who has been skipping naps lately, he will lay in bed for two hours and not fall asleep! I just don’t understand that!
Anyway, when we got home Eamon was sitting on Chris’ lap crying. Not because he was tired or because he wanted a toy, he wanted daddy to make coffee and daddy said no. It’s not just because he likes to help daddy make the coffee, Eamon likes coffee. He likes it with sugar or chocolate or just plain creamer. He’s only two, the other day we caught him downing daddy’s coffee at church, we have to watch the little man like a hawk! :)
Usually when he takes a drink he will exclaim, “I yike it!!!”

Wow, how funny! My kids like my frappuccinos from Starbucks, but those are basically like a milkshake. They’ve never wanted to taste actual coffee!
My son hasn’t taken consistent naps since he was 20 months old. Argh… But keep it up, even a quiet restful time is a good discipline for small people! :)
