Happy Thanksgiving
As we were getting in the car on Thanksgiving morning to start our trek south, I mentioned to Jenni that we missed writing our annual Thanksgiving Day post. Well here is a short version. We sold the Pathfinder on Wed night! We are so glad to be a two vehicle family again. We sold it on Craig's List, and the gentleman that bought it did not even own a computer. He was very excited about it, and did not mind that the CD player did not work because some 2 year old named Aidan tried to see if a Quarter would play in it. He did not mind the crack in the winshield that we have looked through for 2 years.
Our weekend has been good and we are enjoying seeing family. Hope that you are enjoying your long weekend too :)
We have sold some things and bought some things off Craigs list as well.
Not many people have heard of it – but it sure is a good place to get rid of things. AND, it’s free!
Wow. I wonder how he found your van if he didn’t have a computer!
I’ve bought some things off of Craig’s List. Also got some stuff from freecycle, introduced to both by friends of ours that moved to austin. Very usefl they are too.
So did you all end up at Chris’ or Jenni’s parents house for Thanksgiving?
Douglas…
Well! Hello! Greetings from Honolulu! Glad to hear that you sold the Pathfinder! Sounds like he got a message from God or something. Maybe He sent the guy a letter or something. That’s hilarious! This is San and I. We look forward to seeing new pictures from Thanksgiving. We posted our pics from Thanksgiving. I got to eat and not cook. Am I blessed or what? I guess that was the perk of working on Thanksgiving. Maybe I’ll have to cook on Christmas eve, ’cause I have to work on Christmas day. Sorry about the length of my comment. Sanford is harassing me that my comment is longer than our post! We love you guys! Can’t wait to see you in 21 days!!!! Whooo hooo! Pray for snow! Don’t pray for a snow storm though.
We had snow yesterday!
And there is talk of more snow this week too.
It’s snowing right now, maybe it will snow a little while you are hear like just enough to cover the ground and trees and look pretty :) Can’t wait to see you guys!
And by the way, the guy that bought the pathfinder has a sister or friend who has a computer and that’s how he found the car :)
We did both Doug had a fun morning on Thanksgiving with the Burns’ and then off to the Webster’s for a few days. More later! We’re home this morning and thankful to wake up in our own beds this morning. Not going to church today since we did so much running around the last three days the boys need some recoup time from all the running, and us too!
Well, sis, that’s why we were able to talk this morning. Well, I hope you’re still going to heaven, since you didn’t go to church this morning. Ha! Just teasing! Love you! I’m so excited that it is snowing! Post some pics. . . pleeeeese! I want to see it. San and I noticed when we were checking the weather that you were going to have snow. It looks like it might hang on for a couple days. I’m jealous! That’s so fun. Can’t wait to see you guys! Love you all.
