Pea-viners harvesting the peas, we were just so blessed to be right next to them!

Our boys are not an exception, they always want us to stop and sometimes we do, and then sometime we don't like if we are driving 50 MPH and there are 17 cars behind us! The other day we were driving and came accross a field of peas they were harvesting right then. So we stopped and then we went for a walk to go watch them again.
They are called pea-viners. Aidan had a hard time with this word, he kept calling it something I myself can't even pronounce. After we left the pea-viners to head back home Aidan heard what he thought was another pea-viner (but was actually just someone mowing their lawn with a rider), he said, "look, there's another pea-finder!"
Sure made sense to him! :)
I’ve been looking at your blog, amazed by the process you are going through – tough for anyone, not to mention parents of young children. My heart goes out to you!
On a lighter note, I just had to comment: although I live in Minneapolis now, I grew up in Stanwood. My Mom grew up in the Fir Island/Conway area. And…my first job EVER was driving a pea viner for Twin City Foods. I’ve been enjoying getting a sneak-peak back into my home turf through your blog.
Thanks for posting.
Thinking about you guys,
