If you're having a hard time cooking without dairy let me know. In my family we had 4 people allergic to dairy & 2 people allergic to fruit. Now my kids seem to have gotten my milk sensitivities! If you deal with this food issue now, you will be saving yourself & him quite a lot of grief & possible health problems later in life. God bless you in this endeavor!
With discipline - I know what you mean! It would be so easy if what worked for the first child worked for the second but apparently it doesn't! :) We have prayed and sought the Lord & also our friends & parents for advice & help with Will. One friend had two boys, the older would respond to a simple "no" or perhaps a physical chastisement. The second one did not yield until his mom discovered the godly time-out. For this young man, being alone in his room without toys was more discipline than any physical discipline. So we listen to our friends & our parents and try anything the Lord quickens to our minds! Boys. Boys are future men - as your book says well. God bless you during this season with Eamon. And let me know what is working for you! LOL!

My little sister is allergic to cow's milk, and we had her on goat's milk for a while when we were worried about her calcium intake. I've heard goat's milk is actually a better source of calcium than cow's milk.
When Brinna was little (actually from the day she was born, really), she had a stubborn streak and a personality all her own, and was definitely strong willed, but through consistant discipline she's such a sweet little girl now (although she can still be stubborn and strong willed!). It was challenging helping her learn to obey and control herself when she was a baby/toddler though. God bless you and sweet little Eamon too.

LOL!

God bless you in this endeavor!
With discipline – I know what you mean! It would be so easy if what worked for the first child worked for the second but apparently it doesn’t! :) We have prayed and sought the Lord & also our friends & parents for advice & help with Will. One friend had two boys, the older would respond to a simple “no” or perhaps a physical chastisement. The second one did not yield until his mom discovered the godly time-out. For this young man, being alone in his room without toys was more discipline than any physical discipline. So we listen to our friends & our parents and try anything the Lord quickens to our minds! Boys. Boys are future men – as your book says well.

Oh, Eamon, poor boy. He's like his Auntie. In more ways than one it seems. :-) Alergic to milk, temperamental (terribly misspelled!), but such a joy!! :-)
Hope you keep finding solutions for the boy. I've heard that allergies can have an effect on a child's temperment. Maybe that's what my problem was when I was a child.
I love you sis! Can't wait to see you. I feel priviledge! Look! I was the first person to leave a comment on you blog! That doesn' usually happen!
