Quick update from mommy
Well Chris propped my recliner in front of the computer hutch so I could take a few minutes to answer email and give a little update. Thank you all for your comments and prayers and for checking in on us, we are so thrilled to have our little daughter in our arms. We are all doing reall well, I'm healing quickly and have lots of help. My mom is staying with us for a few days and Chris is home for about a week. She is a good nurser and is a really good baby. The boys love her!!! Although Eamon is having a hard time, he's still got the flu on top of getting used to having a new baby around :( Please pray for him and for wisdom in how to help him adjust while mom is healing. We will update more with more pictures later, thanks again for stopping by!
Guenna's Vitals :)
Born on March 15th at 7:02 AM, a little over 6 hours of labor and probably less than 5 minutes of pushing.
8 lbs 14 oz
21 1/2 inches long
her head was 13 1/4 inches around (smallest one yet and yes the easiest to birth, thank you Jesus!)
A Beautiful princess she is! And a beautiful name to go along with it. Congratulations my dear friends. I pray blessings and great moments of refreshing sleep when you get them! :)
What a nice size! A perky little girl! Blessings to you & may your recovery be quick!
Hooray Jenni! You did such a good job! I am so pleased your birth went smoothly, thank you Jesus! I am so thrilled for you, a little jealous, but that should remedy itself in a few days :o)
She truely is a beautiful baby and with sooooo much hair. The Lord has richly blessed you and Chris.
I love her name! I am a little biased though, our 16mo old daughter is Gwenna, we have an Aidan (4) and an Ethan (6) You have great taste in names :o) It is so fun though isnt it?!
I pray you have a smooth recovery and that the boys will heal quickly. That the baby gives you some much needed rest and that you dont hurry your healing too much. The Lord slows us down for a reason ( I am telling you that as a reminder to myself too :o)
Happy Baby moon!
Love and Hugs
Amy
Guenna! HOW adorable!!
Thanks for posting her vitals!
~Karen~
What a precious time this is. Blessings to you all!
Looks like Karen was sooooo close. I looked back and she got the day right and was only off by 4 oz. and 1/2″. Good guess!
Wahoo! Maybe I should predict my OWN delivery and baby-size! Hm?
:-)
Nah. Would NEVER work!
But I’m happy for Jenni..and SO glad that she’s done-done. I can’t wait for that day to arrive, when the discomfort and (more importantly) pain are a mere memory…
Aaaah…
:-)
Hello Jenni and Chris,
I just wanted to stop by and congratulate you on the birth of your beautiful baby girl! I found you site through the announcement on Catherine’s page, and just had to tell you how much I love Guenevere’s name! It’s so pretty and unusual, what a beautiful choice! I’ll be praying for your family as you all adjust, we just had our fourth a month ago, so we’ve definitely been doing our share of adjusting as well. God bless you all,
Laura Richards
