What a way to spend your sick day!

It snowed in Skagit Valley today! Aidan has been sick again the last couple of days and he came up to me from him nap crying that miserable cry. I looked up and saw through the window that it was snowing and boy was it a great distraction from the misery! I even made him a "cute little" sitting spot on my hope chest in front of the window, he and Eamon both really enjoyed watching the snow all day. Hoping it will last but I think rain is in the forcast for tomorrow! We posted quite a few other pictures so you'll have to go and take a look. It's hard to get really good pictures when you play in the snow at night though :)

I’m glad to hear that you guys got snow too! I hear it’s quite snowy over there these days and it looks like you guys got quite a bit. Enjoy the wintery weather – drink hot chocolate and stay warm!

Oh we will Em! I think we are going to go out and play in it again this morning, and I heard that it’s supposed to snow some more today and then rain tonight-we will see! :)

That photo of your hazelnut tree is absolutely beautiful! You could frame that or use it somehow on your blog. Very pretty!
Hope your little man feels better soon! We had snow too, so fun!

You are a great mommy to comfort him with a special sitting spot. Your poor babies – you have much sickness. I bless you with a health new year!!

I’m jealous! My kids keep asking when it’s going to snow, but we don’t get much here. Most years if we want to play in the snow we have to drive to it.

We certainly don’t get much here either! Some years we will have a few snow showers here and there and then other years we will get a good long cold stretch. But I think it snowed once last year and didn’t stay for much longer than a couple days! It was nice to have snow so early in the cold season :)
