Strange Weekend

Well, our garage sale is over. We did okay, not as good as last year but I didn't have as much stuff out there. I didn't sell any of my sewing projects. I think that people are looking for a bargain when they are coming to a garage sale. Several people looked at the quilts and things but they just didn't want to pay that much for them, I had put $40-$45 on the quilts. Anyway, that is okay.

The biggest bummer about the weekend is that our new camera was stolen. We were just sick about it but have resolved to just leave it in God's hands and know that it was really not "ours" anyway. When we have a tight grip on the things that God has placed in our possession they really own us and cause us to be greedy. So it was a good lesson in letting go. So we are back to our old digital camera, and it has served us well the last couple years, I am sure it will be just fine!

So the morning or for me "all day" sickness has really kicked in and I am trying to figure out ways to get away from this feeling. I guess I just wait it out. Right now the thought of putting anything in my mouth, food or drink, makes me want to throw up! This too shall pass, luckily I know that it will only last me about another 5 1/2 weeks!
