Hey I remembered! Today my son turns 8 months old, so I will stop saying that he is 7 1/2 months old. Sorry I am in a strange mood. And for those of you who are wondering, I am 27 years and 3 months old, so you have a while to plan out birthday presents and parties-don't worry!

Anyway, back to my son...he is so cute and these last 8 months have just flown by! He is crawling, nearly walking, talks and squeals, and is just full of personality! He is such a joy, and cracks us up all the time! Chris and Aidan and I like to lay on the bed or sit on the couch and watch him do silly stuff, he responds to attention so well and even teases sometimes like he doesn't know you are talking to him, with a silly grin at the corner of his mouth. He loves his big brother and loves it when he crawls on the floor with him or tumbles over the top of him or feeds him, they are buds! I am not sure what he weighs but I am guessing about 20 lbs, and about 29 inches long. Ever since he started crawling at 5 months his weight gain has slowed down which only makes him faster. His reflexes are amazing, he can crawl across the room and grab something that you drop before you even realize you have dropped it :) So we have entered the stage of taking things out of his mouth. He's a destroyer, but a fun one! I hear the little words, "no no Ee-mon" all day long. I think he will take his first step by 9 months, that is my guess, he is so strong and has absolutely no fear of falling or whacking his head on something! Which means that we will probably have many bumps and bruises with this little guy!

Thank You Lord for this little blessing. I think back to how I felt about having another child before he was born. I couldn't imagine loving another baby as much as I loved Aidan, or nursing another child. Those feelings are completely wiped away as soon as you hear your new little one cry his first cry and he is laid in your arms for the first time. What a joy this little one has been to us, and I would never trade one sleepless night for him, nor a thousand! He is a beautiful blessing and my heart is filled with love! No, I think I could love a thousand babies :)
